The Elkhart Senior Center has a full calendar of activities planned for August 2026. Regular activities include Farkle on August 3, 17, and 31; Bingo on August 10 and 24; blood pressure checks on August 4, 11, 18, and 25; and Movie & Popcorn on August 7, 14, 21, and 28. Other activities include a Chamber of Commerce meeting at 1:00 PM at the Museum on August 5, Site Council at 1:00 PM on August 6, a Sub-Region 1 meeting in Sublette at 1:00 PM on August 13, Birthday Cake on August 27, and an EC Menu Review at 1:00 PM on August 26. Dance outings are also noted in Liberal on August 7, Hugoton on August 15, and Guymon on August 22. The calendar also recognizes the Morton County Fair, August 3–8, and several fun national observance days throughout the month.
