Things to do:
Cimarron National Grassland
The Cimarron National Grassland is the largest parcel of public land in the State of Kansas. Twenty-three miles of the Santa Fe Trail run through the Grassland. The Turkey Trail extends 10.5 miles between the Cottonwood Picnic area and the Recreation area. Point of Rocks was an important landmark on the Santa Fe Trail and later became the location of the first permanent settlement in the area, it's also the third highest point in the State of Kansas!
